Don Sharkey, Honorary Consultant Neonatologist at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust has been awarded a promotion to Professor of Neonatal Medicine and Technology. Don commented on Twitter: “Privileged to do a PhD and move into a senior academic post. Thanks to collaborators, friends, colleagues, ECRs and the support of @MedicineUoN, who gave me these opportunities, I’ve now got a platform to help transform neonatal care with many talented researchers.”
