SurePulse and partners land £1.4m Innovate UK award

Press Release – 01/11/22

SurePulse Medical Ltd, along with partners The University of Nottingham and Tioga Ltd, is delighted to announce that the consortium has won an Innovate UK competitive grant award of £1.4m. The project is to develop and prepare regulatory submissions for a new vital-signs monitoring system.

James Carpenter, CEO of SurePulse said: “The need for innovative medical devices is more important than ever as our healthcare systems experience unprecedented pressure. Neonatal Care is now very high on Governmental and Payers’ agendas – many gains have been made but there still remain great opportunities to reduce deaths and brain injuries in newborn babies. We are very proud to have won this grant along with our partners and look forward to seeing the impact of this award in making a real difference to the care of newborn babies and their families.”
